They use their unique vantage point and collaborative, integrated approach to drive innovation, improve production acumen and increase return on investment for many of the world’s leading advertisers.
Their industry is built on the unique and specialised talent that they have access to and the partnerships and process efficiencies that they can deliver for their clients depend on being able to deliver the right people to the right projects at the right time.
Quarsh was engaged in 2019 to source and acquire experienced subject matter experts in media and advertising production subject areas including video, digital, social, print, experiential, and emerging VR, AR, AI technology. The specificity of the location, subject matter expertise needed to fill these roles had proved to be a recruitment challenge for APR in the past.
The Result
Quarsh has taken a proactive sourcing approach to managing APRs recruitment process. Understanding the business strategy and objectives has allowed Quarsh to take a top-down approach to recruitment, and preemptively source candidates for roles much faster than waiting for specific profiles to be identified by more traditional bottom-up demand. Quarsh has managed the sourcing and hiring of 11 subject matter experts to date, objectively improving candidate quality as reported by hiring managers involved in the recruitment process.
“APR has such a unique business model which made this a very interesting challenge, requiring all the qualities that our outsourced recruitment department can uniquely bring to the table,” said Claire Praill, who managed the project from Quarsh. "APR adds huge value to their clients' processes, the work they do is truly interesting. This along with their inclusive and engaging culture have been primary messages that we’ve tried to elevate and I think have contributed to the positive results.”
“APR partnered with Quarsh in the spring of 2019 to elevate our recruiting presence in EMEA and APAC by providing sourcing, screening and processing candidates in the local time zone which resulted with an efficient candidate experience start to finish. The team at Quarsh was quickly able to learn the APR model and absorb our culture to represent APR properly with every candidate. Claire and team are simply a joy to work with!”
