What excites you about your new role and joining Quarsh?
The prospect of working with Quarsh’s clients to assist them with their staffing and subsequently their growth and expansion is really exciting. I have not yet had the chance to work for an RPO and being given the opportunity to join a RPO with the ethos, approach and teamwork that Quarsh demonstrates is something I am really looking forward to getting stuck into.
What are your first impressions of your new role?
During my first week onsite at Quarsh's Head Office, I spent my time familiarising myself with the working practices and ethos of the team.
Initially I will be assisting with several of Quarsh's accounts with the long term plan being that I will join Tony in working on the recruitment needs of Circlehealth. This variety will allow me to work with quite a few of the Quarsh team and therefore give me a wider knowledge of the team's working styles; a prospect which I am looking forward to.
I am excited to have been given the opportunity to join an innovative company such as Quarsh and am keen to learn more about the range of companies who entrust Quarsh with their people sourcing.
What's the coolest/best thing you've ever done?
Sea level traversing in Snowdonia. Granted that was some time ago but the memory still sticks with me!
What's the weirdest/scariest thing to ever happen to you?
Having an invite extended to me on my first day with the Quarsh team to compete in a Tough Mudder with them in September 2017! Given my current level of fitness, this would be no mean feat but strangely, is one I am considering...
Anything else you'd like to add?
I hope that my previous experience of recruitment, which encompasses agency and in-house within healthcare, commercial, education and apprenticeships settings will stand me in good stead for my role as Recruitment Business Partner for Quarsh. My aim has always been to provide an effective, honest and personable service for clients; approaches which Quarsh embody.
