We’re delighted to announce that Quarsh has chosen Mind as our charity of the year.
Mind campaign on a range of mental health issues which include access to mental health services such as talking therapies and crisis care, through to ensuring anyone with mental health issues gets the support they need when returning to work after a mental health problem. With one in four adults every year suffering mental health issues, many will struggle to get access to the services and they support. Mind provide direct support to over 250,000 people per year through a national network of 10,000 staff and volunteers.
Tony Glover, Lead Recruitment Business Partner at Quarsh said "We're really looking forward to partnering with Mind and raising some money for a good cause. Mind do a great job in supporting people with mental health issues, and the reliance on organisations like them will only increase over time. Mental illness is still a very misunderstood and under-funded area of healthcare, so we're more than happy to help out where we can!"
With some of the team having already agreed to a 10K race in June and a Tough Mudder in September, the Quarsh team are already putting the wheels in motion to get the fundraising underway. However, there's a wide variety of different ways we're planning to funds for Mind, so it's not just going to be 10K runs and 13-mile obstacle courses!
We're in the process of setting up a fundraising page via Virgin Money Giving, and any donations will be gratefully received! Please keep an eye out on our website and social media feeds for updates on our fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
