What excites you about your new role and joining Quarsh?
I am tremendously excited by my new role at Quarsh. The opportunity to work with like-minded colleagues was a key factor in my decision. Within our team, we have an extensive domestic and international network of business contacts. I still consider myself lucky to have "bumped" into Executive Search, totally by chance!
What are your first impressions of your new role?
The environment here is ideal for those who have belief in their ability, are collegiate in style and relish working in an entrepreneurial business. In addition, I have confidence in my new colleagues and expect to improve my knowledge and insight on new industries. The executive search business now is still extraordinarily demanding, challenging, and captivating.
What's the coolest/best thing you've ever done?
In July 2014, I had the opportunity to visit Martha's Vineyard, a Massachusetts island, just south of Cape Cod. The best thing to happen to me had to be finally taking my young family over to Walt Disney World Resort, in Florida. It was my first visit too!
What's the weirdest/scariest thing to ever happen to you?
In the period, 2008-2010, I had the privilege to visit Oman on a number of occasions. I recall viewing the mountainous territory and deserts. One of my guides took me to the fort of Bahla, Oman. Let's just say that I heard voices which were rather unusual for me.
Anything else you'd like to add?
We balance technical communications with the human aspect of face-to-face meetings. We have a vision and a good balance between flexibility and the point of no compromise.
